imageHere I describe how I changed the user sign-in method from an (on premise) ADFS installation to the Pass-through authentication with single sign-on enabled.

In 2016 the only possibility for a real single sign on between the on premise AD and the Office 365 / Microsoft Azure was to implement an on premise ADFS infrastructure with a public certificate, what I did for my environment.

At the end of the Azure Active Directory Sync configuration Wizard you have a  “Synchronize your directories now” checkbox. When you have this box activated, ALL user accounts from your on premise AD are synchronized to the cloud. This article shows you, how you can select the OU’s with the user’s to synchronize first!

AD Replication Status Tool

is a new tool from Microsoft to check the replications status of your Domain Controllers in your Active Directory environment in a domain.

You have to run this tool on a PC / Server which is member of the domain to scan.
